Making some real progress this week on a whole load of things!
The design of the site is looking fantastic. We’ve just finished building the ‘fan’ modules that allow people to become your new best friend and be updated on what you are doing. We were thinking of using ‘followers’ and ‘following’ but always get confused on twitter as to who is a follower and who is following, so we stuck with ‘fan’. The film pages and cast and crew elements look slick, but not yet polished, so we’re doing that now. We’ve done most of the ‘Projects’ work backend, and now need to do the design. Guess that should be the bigger challenge. Really need a bigger team here, instead we’re always working late at the moment!
Had some great feedback regarding Student Ambassadors, so thanks to everyone who’s sent in CV’s so far, and for all those of you who have volunteered to Beta test for us.
Someone called yesterday about a film competition they want to promote to our members… the prize was ridiculously nice so we’re hoping its going to happen! Our plan is to tell you a bit more about what we’re doing as we go along. In the meantime we’d love you to add us on twitter and facebook if you haven’t already, and we’ll try and post some screenshots soon.
